European Championship win for McFlynn

After an outstanding 1st day, Conor McFlynn was joint leader with an impressive 49 ex 50.  His only miss was the second last target, a kneeler that in his own words was,

“not the hardest target out there, but I suppose they’re all there to miss”

In the second day, he was partnered with Andy Calpin a competitior with vast experience and talent who was only 1pt behind the lead.  Andy proved to be in excellent form hitting 46, whilst Conor came home with a 45, the result meaning both competitiors were tied on a total of 94 over two days.  Two days of truly amazing marksmanship but a winner had to be decided by shoot-off.  McFlynn calmly dropped both sudden death standers in a stiff breeze to take the win.
